Milan Community School Corporation SRO duties and qualifications:

* Must have completed the Indiana Law Enforcement Tier 1 or Tier 2 Academy

* Work closely with school administrators

* Act as a communication liaison with local law enforcement agencies

* Take steps appropriate and consistent with a law enforcement officer's duty when necessary

* Coordinate all physical security measures including visitor access, door locks, security

   cameras, staff ID badges, and any other necessary equipment to protect the building and the

   people in it.
